SIG: Okanagan Bridge Group
September 15, 2026, 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm
The UBCO bridge group meets regularly for afternoons of fun and cognitive challenge. Whether playing or advising, thinking about bidding conventions and strategies for playing hands kept us focused and involved, as did the analysis of unusual hands after they were played. After 2 hours of concentration, we head to a nearby café to catch up over treats, tea and coffee.
Sept to May playdates will be every second Tuesday at the Innovation Centre at the Kelowna Main Library (1380 Ellis Street).
To join the group or learn more about our SIG, please contact Barbara Rutherford (bjr22@telus.net).
The conventions in Audrey Grant’s “Bridge at a Glance” will be used until our numbers are large enough for partnerships to be stabilized. Thereafter, partners can develop their own agreements.
