Meeting Details: The Community Volunteer Special Interest Group invites all Emeritus College members to join us for our Fall meeting.
The meeting will be a great opportunity to share volunteering activities that many of the emeriti are engaged in locally, nationally and internationally across a wide range of activities involving education, indigenous communities, health, the creative arts, the environment, senior living, and more.
On September 17th we will hear from three speakers:

Peter Dodek, from the Department of Medicine, will describe his volunteer activities in public schools, speaking about the advantages of a science education. He will also discuss his recent involvement in developing a statement of institutional neutrality for university administrators to adopt for political events.
Graeme Wynn, former principal of the Emeritus College will present his views on the significance of the Emeritus College, and specifically the important role of the Community Volunteer Group.
