Elected Membership Application
The College welcomes applications for elected membership from individuals without UBC emeritus status. Please be aware that the benefits for elected members differ from those of automatic College members. See benefits comparison table for more information.
We encourage such individuals to complete a Membership Application Form.
Membership Election Process
The Membership Committee will review your application and will be in touch should any further information be required. The Committee will forward its recommendation to the Emeritus College Council for the final membership decision. You will then be notified by the College Principal.
UBC Senate Approved Emeritus/a
Individuals with UBC Emeritus status are members automatically and there is no application process. However, these individuals are welcome to complete the Member Information Form.
The information will assist the College to identify the interests of newly-retired faculty members, as well as to provide the College administration with your contact details.
