Welcome to the UBC Emeritus College
We are here to help you plan for and make the most of your retirement with enriching experiences, inclusive collaborations, interdisciplinary activities, and advocacy on issues that matter to you and the wider community. We amplify your voice while maintaining close ties to the University and academia and supporting UBC strategic goals.
UBC’s emeriti shaped what UBC is today. They founded programs, schools, institutes, centres and faculties. They recruited the current leaders and rising stars. Today, thousands of individuals trained by today’s emeriti are leading and contributing around the world in their fields and strengthening UBC’s international reputation. By standing for UBC’s intellectual and academic legacy, they now advocate for its future potential through social and civic engagement, contributions to the community, outreach and wisdom.
