Topic: Do we need the CBC?
Pierre Poilievre is campaigning to bring down the current government. About the only concrete policy he has so far proposed is to “defund the CBC”. The new CBC president has said that defunding would cripple the broadcaster, and that the CBC is facing an “existential threat”.
