What Can We Do about Climate Change?
As we hear about the damage caused by wild fires in B.C., and the devastation wrecked by Hurricane Milton in Florida, it would be easy to succumb to despair about the enormity of the problem of climate change. Electric cars are touted as an answer, but where is the infrastructure needed to support them? We don’t have much personal control over what oil companies do. But surely there are things we can do in our own lives, personal changes that we can make, all of which add up and which, if everyone did them, could make quite a difference. Not using plastic bottles springs to mind.
What do you think you can do?
The Philosopher’s Cafés will be held in the Club Room in Tapestry at Wesbrook Village from 11:00am.
Coffee and tea will be offered by Tapestry. You may reserve to have lunch at Tapestry after the Café by calling (604) 225-5000 or by checking in with the front desk before the Café.
