Council Meeting - Retreat
The Council will meet online for their annual Retreat.

Please send 3 photos to Richard Spencer at richard@rhspencer.ca. We have a theme for photos – Pandemic.
We ask that at least one of the 3 photos should be on the topic but the other titles/subjects can be at the discretion of each maker. We hope that asking for only 3 photos will give individual makers enough time to talk about their image, allow enough time for everyone else to comment, start a discussion and hopefully allow us to finish in about 1 ½ hours. We suggest a pause of 5-10 minutes at about ¾ -1 hour. The time of the pause can be decided according to how time is going.

Joint UBC Emeritus College and Faculty Women's Club Travel Group
This is the first joint travel group session with the Faculty Women's Club.
The topic will be: “The Why, Where, When and How of Travelling for Opera”. Presenters: Alex Volkfoff and Heather Clark.

Lorna and Don Blake will be presenting “Nostalgia Revisited: A Month in New Zealand”. They will take us on their automobile trip through New Zealand from Auckland in the North Island to Invercargill at the tip of the South Island. Their itinerary was planned by the daughter of a Kiwi nurse who befriended Lorna’s parents in the early fifties, hence “nostalgia” in the title. She also arranged fabulous homestays with friends and relations, most of whom they had never met, but who treated them like family. You couldn’t buy this tour, but we hope you can still enjoy it.
