Objective
The EC travel group is a forum for presentations and discussions related to travel. The main goal is to entertain by sharing travel experiences, but also to educate and provide ideas for future travel.
Members
Participation in the group is open to all UBC Emeriti, but we welcome Emeriti from UVic and SFU and members of the Faculty Women’s Club.
Please contact Paul Steinbok at psteinbok@cw.bc.ca if you wish to be added to the membership list. A zoom link to upcoming meetings is usually sent out 2 days in advance to all members on the email list.
Activities
Travel presentations are generally arranged monthly, with breaks for summer and Christmas vacations. Currently, all presentations are done by zoom and are recorded. Links to the recordings are made available to all members of the group.
