Showcasing members' ongoing work
Organized by the Scholarly Engagement Committee, this monthly speaker series features Scholarly, Teaching, and Service (STS) presentations by members of the UBC Emeritus College.
The Committee created this recurring event to give members a platform to showcase their research, service, and teaching contributions at UBC and beyond. Each online session begins with a brief talk by the presenting member, followed by an audience discussion to promote thoughtful discussion and academic inquiry.
About the Scholarly Engagement Committee
The Scholarly Engagement Committee supports the scholarly interests of members, and proposes initiatives to engage them within the College. The committee has a "think tank" format whereby it develops new proposals to present to the College.
